This blog is turning out to be way fun! Thanks for posting the darling pics, Nancy! Looks like you and Pam had a wonderful & fun day! It is COLD here today, such a change from last week, it's hard to go back to winter. Looking forward to seeing some/all in 2 weeks for Alden's wedding and in 3 weeks for the open house. Aunt Sally is going to have it looking marvelous!! What fun! See you soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The kids and I went up to Provo to spend the day with Auntie Pammi. We watched the ducks in a duck pond, ate at McDonald's and played, went to a museum, and enjoyed some yummy icecream. We had a wonderful time!

Does anyone know Pammi's email address? I don't think the one I've been using is the right one.

Hail the conquering hero! Tom's first teaching day went really well!

Monday, January 19, 2009

Well, hi everyone!
Am trying to see if I can do this without Dad's help this time. We'll see . . . .
So cute pics of the kiddies in their Sunday duds, Ninette! Thanks! It's been almost a year since we had our official family pictures taken. I vote that Chantee and Keiryn have changed the most since then!! If we all get together again I'd like to take some "unofficial" pics to sort of update. Question for Kerry Bayles, Assistant Manager at Sherwin Williams: What would be best to paint/stain our house with? The stain doesn't seem to last very long. Is it possible to paint this cedar instead? We're looking pretty scruffy here and need a facelift (the house, too). Hope all are doing well. We are having such lovely weather for January it will be hard to go back to winter! Love to all!

These are our cute kiddlins in their Sunday best.
Mom requested these pics so here they are!

So, I saw that a draft was written by our Pammi and she was going to post the video of her fun talent show version of "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better" and I'm just wondering what happened to that idea? I want to see it!

Sooooo Your all oficially invited to come put my truck back together for me. I finally got the engine tore out, but I saved the fun part of putting it back together for you guys! J/K No, but you aught to see the poor truck. The front end ended up getting bent pretty bad when I couldn't get some parts out and got mad and took a crow bar to it. The poor old thing is all sprawled out with wires and hoses hanging out in every direction, I just hope I can remenber where they all go.

Wahoo! I am glad things went well. Not so on the home front. I nearly broke my pup in half. FYI, the pup is the trailer on my truck. The frame on one side broke completely in two which tweaked the opposite side as well. Needless to say it shall be out of commission for a while. In the meantime Dennis is scrambling to find work for me. Alas I was just grateful I still had a job.
This entry is not to complain. Life is still great and we are doing fine.
Tom had to substitute for his teacher yesterday and had a blast! Just wanted you to know that he had a good day of teaching. I'm thrilled about it! He's also learning some good survival tips from Mr. Moss, which is great. He'll probably take over at the end of next week. We hope it goes well.

Keep it up, Mom! It was great to hear from you and Dad.

Kaden found a can of spray paint this morning. Hooray! Lucky for us it was empty and did little damage. He now has blue freckles which are actually kind of cute and his dresser is covered in blue speckles as well as many of his toys. What a kid, what a kid!

Happy Sabbath!
Well, hi! I feel like the oldest blogger in history! I'm still not really sure how this is done but I shall prevail. Dad, Grandma and I went to Farmington yesterday (on purpose for no reason) to buy a new printer. Our old one was causing much havoc in my life and when I wasn't even able to print a little choir handout that was the last straw! We had a fun time shopping a bit and it was good to get away for a day. By the way, Aunt Sally is really hoping all of you can come to Alden & Keira's open house on the 21st??? of February!!

We are starting to really like the blog idea. Here is a couple of cute little boys watching their educational video of the day. FYI this picture was produced by putting our memory card in our new fangled printer, printing the image, then scanning it with the selfsame printer, saving it to our computer, then downloading it onto the blog. Are we something or what. ( careful now ). It was the long way around but we had to try out all the functions of our new toy. Wahoo it even prints text.

Remind you of anyone? He's his mother's son! The sad part about this story is that I was in the bathroom when he did it. I'm just not observant at all, especially when I'm trying to get my hair to cooperate! Ah well. It made for a good picture, right?
So a little bird told me that Kerry and Alison might want to have a fix-it-up party for their house sometime. All I can say is I am sooo in if ya'll decide to go for it! I'm way excited!
Tom's break has officially ended and he starts teaching on Monday. He is more nervous than excited, but is so glad Mr. Moss will be there with him in case he needs something. I got to go meet Mr. Moss this week and really liked him.
I have other things to update everyone on, but I think I will save them for a full-blown letter. Hope everyone is getting into the groove of 2009. I'm not yet, but hope to get there soon!
Love,
Nance
